Chief among the engines deployed as part of the Risk Assessment System is the 30-day readmission engine, which tracks the likelihood of a given patient being readmitted due to deteriorations caused by problems with the original course of treatment.
This 30-day engine captures between 80-90 data parameters that affect the risk of re-hospitalisations and it gives a score for each inpatient, in order to verify if the patient is truly ready to be discharged.
