Meanwhile, we continue to strengthen our relations with the Finland healthcare personnel. With the reform in the Finnish Health and social services, the need for advanced digital tools that can empower health and care professionals is much bigger.
This month, Lavaa’s president, Izhak Lax met with hi-tech and healthcare leaders of the Finnish industry as part of a business delegation. The meeting took place at the home of the Finnish ambassador in Israel Kirsikka Lehto-Asikainen.

Lastly, a week ago, Lavaa finished its second research internship program. This was in collaboration with the Masa Israel program for Winter 2023. We are glad to report that the internship of Daria Kovaleva was exceptionally successful.
Daria has co-developed with the research and health teams two health modules to early detect Fabry and Hunter rare diseases, and has proven herself to be an asset to the team. Well done!
